Tips for creating a wedding register
Glassware Tip sheet
1. A set of glassware or crystal usually includes white and red wineglasses, a water goblet, and a champagne flute. Register for as many sets as you do china place settings.
2. Feel the balance and weight, and then choose a style that will make your table shine.

What to look for
- Crystal contains lead, while plain glass does not -- the higher the lead content, the clearer the crystal.
- When tapped lightly, crystal should have a bell-like sound, unlike the flat note you hear when tapping glass.
